I want to create a world where the suffering of all sentient beings is minimized and all people have access to meaningful work, healthcare, and education. I believe that this can only be achieved through a radical redistribution of resources whereby economic, political, and social capital is put work satisfying human need instead of pandering to inhuman greed.

It lacks a comprehensive vision of society which can succesfully integrate youth into society and raise them to be God-conscious, altruistic, and virtuous. Islam provides this. In addition it promotes a healthy disdain for riches and promotes ties of brotherhood across boundaries of class, ethnicity, and race. These factors combine to ensure that events such as this never happen.

Wallahi, deranged is the word! I often wonder about this imbalance: Third World youth perpetually struggle for the survival of their families in economies often wrought asunder by capitalism, or, in some cases against de facto occupation; U.S. bourgeoise youth, with an overabundance of everything except belief, and perpetually "bored," engage in addictions, cybercrimes, and actual crimes, such as against these innocents. Muslims must work to help these mausoom and mazluum homeless. Jazaak allah khair for linking to this important story.
