Time to move to Canada...

No shit, man. I'm going to start looking for a more permanant job here in France. If that doesn't work out, then I can go live with Natalia in Argentinia and work as an English teacher there. It is odd that, simply by having been born in an English speaking country, I am given the option of going just about anywhere in the world and finding a job.

If you decide on Canada as opposed to Costa Rica, let me know and I can get you in touch with some good Canadians. I know a lot of people who are thinking about leaving the country now.

I, like you, am not only disgusted by the fact that Bush won, but by the fact that so many people voted for him. At least four years ago we could console ourselves with the fact the Gore had won the popular vote and therefore our fellow citizens were not all completely gulliable.

I can't believe that anyone would believe that Bush is the best choice for terrorism--it seems to me that he has done more to alianate the world and give them more cause to hate Americans. His Middle East policy is rubbish--but you know more about that than I do.

Are you considering moving to Pakasitan eventually? It seems that, moving to Canada or Costa Rica (or France) still indicates a certain level of hope that the US will eventually come to its senses. I can't imagine leaving the Us forever. For better or worse, it is still my country, and I do feel a certain fondness for it. Most of my disgust comes from the fact that I would like to be proud of my country and the choices the citizens make. I feel that the US has an enermous capacity and potential for good--yet over and over again...

Well, I won't go on. I have felt sick yesterday and today and I know most of it has to do with the election (and some of it is the jambon cru I ate yesterday--for fell details refer to my log). I really shouldn't get myself so worked up over it. It is not good for my mental state.

I think I will have some French wine tonight and curl up early with a book.

(I wish the post a comment section had a spell check because it is hard to sound intelligent when you mis-spell words.)

Blah, I mean PUERTO Rico. See what I mean about being an idiot?

By the way, how to you add someone to your friends list? And how do you add links? The blogger thing is cool, but a little difficult for an idiot like me to figure out...

Don't move to Canada! We need to stay here and continue to speak our truth (our Haqq)!
